A note from the front office.
- Books & Stationery fees are due now. Please make sure payment is done before the term break.
- School uniform is required Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Sports uniform is required on Tuesday & Thursday – All students must come to school in their sports uniform on these days.
- Parents who haven’t updated their details with the School Office please make sure you call the office and re-check your details as all parents must have a family code for Seqta Engage. If you can’t access and don’t know how to download, please come to the office for help.
- LOST PROPERTY - If you have lost any items of clothing, please check in lost property. Please name ALL items of uniform so they are easily identified.
- Sirius College is an ASTHMA FRIENDLY SCHOOL as we have been recognised by the Asthma Foundation as an Asthma Friendly School. An asthma management plan should be filled in for all children who suffer from asthma even if very mild or seasonal asthma. Please make sure that you update this at the front office if circumstances change. Our grounds’ personnel has developed an asthma, friendly, playground.
- Students with a medical condition for example: Asthma, Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis or any condition, please notify the office of this information so that details can be kept up to date.
- We have noticed that some families of students who attend on the bus, take their child from the court yard and leave. Please make sure you report to the office firstly, that you are taking your child.
- Late to school during this term - I have noticed parents are leaving their child. If your child is late for school by 10 minutes or longer, parents should walk their child to the office and inform the office staff!
- School begins at 8:55a.m. and students are dismissed at 3.25p.m. For the safety of your children, please ensure your children are at school no earlier than 8.40a.m. and that you come to collect your child before 3.45p.m. There will be no supervision before 8.40a.m. and none after 3.40p.m. These are the times, most accidents happen!
- CSEF will be provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities. The annual CSEF amount is $125 for Primary school students. If you have a valid concession card you may be eligible for CSEF, To obtain a CSEF application form please send back to the school office the forms that were sent in Term 1, see below.
